Book Review

We really enjoyed reviewing this book.  When I say we, I mean the two of us.  I reviewed this book with my three-year-old daughter.  She loved the monkeys and the funny pictures.  She has been carrying it around since I took it out of the box.  Unfortunately, Mommy had to take the book for the review.

This book has beautiful illustrations.  It is a board book, so it is open to being read repeatedly by little hands.  The poems on each page make for easy memorization for word recognition for young readers.

Our favorite portion of this book is the page dedicated to the inheritance of faith. Snuck somewhere in the middle of the book is a short poem about how Grandpa teaches them about Jesus and the Bible.  This is such a great addition to the book, as children benefit so much from learning about Jesus from those that they cherish.  It’s the best example we can set for our children.

I highly recommend this book.  I am sure that you and your little one will greatly enjoy it.

Book Review

This is another book review, that our sweet little toddler got to help with.  She rushed through the house with this beautiful book in her arms, excited to hear it for the first time.  Fortunately, Daddy was home on his lunch break so they could share it right away.

The imagery in the book is delightful.  The soft muted colors are perfect for bedtime, and cuddling up to share. The rhyme and meter is a little strained at times, but nothing that matters to the little one enjoying it.  On various pages, there is a simple little line, and it is perfect for a beginning reader to say, or memorize as part of the story time.

We enjoyed this book, and we recommend it.

Book Review

We really enjoyed reviewing this book.  When I say we, I mean the two of us.  I reviewed this book with my three-year-old daughter.  We started with a required reading of this about three times.  That’s right… we took it out of the box and I was directed to read this book over and over again.  It was with big tears that Mommy took this book from her to write the book review.  Several checks into the office to see if Mommy was done writing about her new books.

This book has beautiful illustrations.  It is a board book, so it is open to being read repeatedly by little hands.  The poems on each page make for easy memorization for word recognition for young readers.  If we had to complain about one thing in this book, it would be the fact that there is no term there for her Grandma… but you don’t find a lot of Nemos in the world.

I highly recommend this book.  I am sure that you and your little one will greatly enjoy it, especially if you have your own Grandma who makes it all true for them.
